NMB Bank - has once again scooped the Best Bank in Tanzania by the leading global financial markets magazine – Euromoney.



NMB Bank receives a top honour naming it the Best Bank in Tanzania at the Euromoney 2016 Awards for Excellence in London for the fourth year in a row. The Euromoney awards, now in their 25th year, provide a benchmark for levels of service and financial performance across the banking industry.


“But once again,NMB Bank remained a step ahead and wins this year’s award for the best bank in Tanzania,” The Euromoney magazine writes.


These annual awards cover more than 20 global product categories, best-in-class awards in all regions and the best banks in close to 100 countries around the world.  It recognizes financial institutions worldwide that have recorded significant accomplishments within their operating environments, display innovation and record excellent financial performance year on year.

Euromoney’s award decisions are made by a committee of senior journalists, chaired by Euromoney’s editor, following the receipt of detailed submissions from market participants and extensive year-round research into the banking and capital markets in the region by their editors, journalists and research team.
